Maine Citizen's Guide 2009: "Do you want to reject the new law that lets same-sex couples marry and allows individuals and religious groups to refuse to perform these marriages?"
What could this possibly mean to someone who isn't thinking when they pull the lever? I mean, really. Why do election officials, or whomever is responsible for such things, allow this kind of misrepresentation on the ballot?
